Singer Showcase: Bound for Broadway, NYC

JDProductions is seeking talent for its upcoming Bound for Broadway industry-invited showcases. Producer states: "This is great for performers who need performance video footage. JDProductions is not affiliated with any other showcases. Bound for Broadway is proud to offer a different type of showcase in NYC, boasting a live entertainment emcee, free professionally edited videos for the performers, and a well-rehearsed diverse performance opportunity alongside talented composers." John Forslund, casting dir.-exec. prod.; Garrit Guadan, music dir. Rehearses and performs at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre in the West Village in NYC.

Seeking—Singers: male and female, 21+, all ethnicities.

Auditions will be held by appt. only in NYC. For an appt., email pix & résumés to jdproductions.casting@gmail.com. An accompanist will be provided. Performers will be required to sell tickets ranging from $10-$15 each, plus an accompanist fee ($50) is required for tech, show, and music rehearsals. Some pay (ticket sales reimbursement), plus free video copy provided. The producers are seeking both union and nonunion performers for this productionbut no union contract is currently plannedUnion performers should check with their union before accepting any work.
