WORKSHOP: Musical Theater Audition Technique Workshop, NYC

A Class Act NY, an acting studio for kids and teens, is seeking participants for its Musical Theater Audition Technique Workshop. Participants will work with A Class Act NY Artistic Director Jessica Rofé, a Broadway music director, and a talent manager on two 16-bar cuts of songs to use for their auditions. The class will focus on song interpretation and proper audition technique, and will culminate in a mock audition for a talent manager. Producers state: "Work one-on-one with our award-winning staff and learn how to nail the audition. Whether you're looking to become a professional actor or you just want to hone your audition skills for local productions, this is a great way to learn proper technique and to improve your presentation and then strut your stuff for a talent agent." Class will be held March 11, 1-5 p.m. at Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Ave. (btwn. 36th & 37th sts.), 16th fl., NYC. Note: Daylight savings time goes into effect on this date.

Seeking—Actors: boys and girls, ages 7-16, all ethnicities, all skill levels.
