CASTING: Basilica of St. Patrick's Choral Ensemble, NYC

Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral is casting a new choral ensemble. Joshua South, choir dir.; Jared Lamenzo, music dir. Rehearses/performs the first Sun. of every month, 5-8 p.m. at Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in SoHo in NYC.

Seeking—Three Highly Qualified Male Singers: 18-30s, all ethnicities, specifically seeking a Counter Tenor, Tenor, and Bass (to low D), singers should be highly versed in choral repertoire, able to sight read very well, and have a clear tone and pleasant attitude. Casting personnel state: "Expansion for future work is very possible, including recordings, concerts, and tours."

Auditions will be held March 8, noon-5 p.m. at the Basilica, 263 Mulberry St.(corner of Prince & Mott sts.), NYC; enter on Mott St. btwn. Prince & Houston sts. Sign-up begins at 11:45 a.m. at the back of the church for 10-minute auditions slots. A monitor will be present. Prepare a classical piece that shows off a clear tone in any language; no pop music.
