Angelica Page is no stranger to the slippery slope of living as the offspring to famous parents. "It's strange in this country," says Page, who just happens to be the daughter of film/stage legends Geraldine Page & Rip Torn. Overseas in England, if you're the child of theatrical royalty, you are automatically expected to pick up that baton. It's only in the U.S. that we seem to want to call it some form of nepotism." Page chuckles when revealing that with every door that's been opened to her, two more have been slammed in her face. On Thursday, October 6th - a different kind of door was opened for Angelica, as Dale Badway's 'Fame Wall' gallery inducted Angelica into their ever growing gallery of celebrity paintings by internally acclaimed artist Jim Warren. Fame Wall is dedicated to artists who've made a substantial contribution to the world of Entertainment. Angelica's Fame Wall event also turned into a fund raiser for 'The Actor's Fund.' "I am so thrilled that my work can be acknowledged in a way which also benefits 'The Actor's Fund' they're one of our industry's most cherished institutions." Page kicked off the evening's festivities by singing some tracks from a new CD she's releasing, entitled, "Torn No More.' See the above video for highlights from the 'Fame Wall' unveiling, and check back for my full interview with Angelica, who talks at length about the pitfalls of fame, and how her thespian linage has helped this showbiz kid plant a better than average set of of industry roots.
