Comedians, the People’s Improv Theater is hosting a free comedy jam tomorrow night, so stop by and test out your skills among New York’s improve finest.

 

Photographers and photography lovers, the 100 Camera's Photoexhibition presented by Art at the Empire is tomorrow night at totally free. The event shows Sudan through the eyes of 100 children who were given cameras to capture their lives.

 

The Brooklyn Academy of Music Opera Festival will go through April 2. This 16-day event is the brainchild of early music conductor William Christie, who's selected Purcell's The Fairy Queen, as the festival's centerpiece. The festival also introduces Baroque Cabaret, a series of stripped-down productions presented intimately and affordably at BAMcafe.

 

Writers, Ed2010.com is hosting a class on April 8 that focuses on how to break into writing about food and becoming a food critic.

 

Filmmakers, the deadline for the Vila do Conde International Short Film Festival is April 14, and the deadlines for both the Munich Film Festival and the Message To Man International Film Festival are April 15.
