3 Signs You're Suffering from Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea isn't just inconvenient. It's dangerous.

1. You Wake Up Gasping

The most obvious sign you're suffering from sleep apnea is when you're often jolted awake from your sleep, gasping for breath. This happens because your sleep apnea is preventing your body from getting enough oxygen. After a prolonged period of air-deprivation, your body starts involuntarily gasping to quickly bring in enough oxygen to keep you from suffocating.

But this prolonged period of air-deprivation is very bad for your body and could even have deadly long-term effects. Your blood doesn't get enough oxygen, which leads to high blood pressure, heart disease, and strokes.

2. You're Infamous for Snoring
