I'm Back!

Hi ForTalent friends!   I've been sort of MIA for the past few months, having not answered back to Chatters and private messages (very very sorry for the delays). So you may ask... what happened?   I have been in Florence, Italy for a study abroad program at my university and have had...

a little rant

So everyone in the east coast knows weather hasn't been very... generous in amount of precipitation. I've been waiting to get a carwash for the past two weeks and can't seem to wear anything but boots (well that's a lie but yeah). I couldn't go to work last Friday because of the snow, and was expecting the same thing this morning....

End of Fashion Week S/S 2011

This past week has been pretty interesting for me (read: it was heavenly). Fashion Week, Fashion's Night Out, school, stuff. As I mentioned in a previous blog, I did watch almost every live stream I could. My favorite turned out to be Tommy Hilfiger for his classic prep (somehow I can never pull it together) and Christian Siriano's crazy shoes....

My Experience at Wings Theatre: "Machinal"

Wednesday night, I went to an off-off-Broadway show called " Machinal " at Wings Theatre. One of the ForTalent members Tina Mavrikidis  is in the cast (playing the mother of the main character), and after checking out the event section on our site as well as the external sites, I deemed the show interesting (and indeed it was).  ...

Fashion Week Starts Tomorrow! (by tomorrow I mean 9/9/10)

It's the time of the year and the world's top designers gathered in New York City to make September exciting :)   Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing Christiano Siriano's collection (always have, always will) as well as live streaming Michael Kors and Badgley Mischka's shows. On Saturday, I'll be seeing my first fashion...

My Experience at Met's Summer HD Festival

For those who don't know what Summer HD Festival is, it's a series of outdoor screenings of past productions shown at Lincoln Center. It's free to attend and it runs until Sept. 6.   I have recently moved into my new dorm at NYU, and one of the Welcome Week events was a trip to Lincoln Center to see the screening of Hensel...
